ICL Course Information(2022 Fall)

2022 Intercultural Collaborative Learning (ICL) Courses are OPEN for applications! Six national universities in Japan —Tohoku University, Fukushima University, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Shinshu University, Osaka University, and Kobe University— offer credit-bearing online courses this Fall. Please refer to the website for Intercultural Collaborative Learning-Learning Across Diverse Cultures.

IPLA students can also take ICL courses at other universities online. Since ICL courses offered by other universities require registration at each university, we will ask you about courses you wish to take at other universities prior to your registration at Tohoku University. Please note that registration for Tohoku University courses will not be available until October.

- Please note that there is a limit to the number of students who can take each course, so even if you submit a request for a course, you may not be able to take it.

- If you take any of the ICL courses that are on the course list, they will be approved as ICL courses for IPLA completion requirements, and the credits you earn can be included in the 15 credits required for completion of IPLA.
