Sendai City and Tohoku University are currently discussing the details of a proposal for the designation of a zone for the "Super City concept" promoted by the government.
Super Cities are to be designed as "future cities," where an improved lifestyle of the future is realized ahead of time for community members. This will be achieved through regulation reforms, data coordination of multiple fields, and provision of next-generation services.
