JYPE/COLABS/DEEP (Fall 2021)
Tohoku University has decided to offer the Hybrid exchange programs for the exchange students accepted unconditionally due to the reasons below;
・The COVID-19 cases have been still rising across the world as well as in Japan
・The State of Emergency in several areas in Japan (including Tokyo) (will last, at least, until Aug. 22)
・Ongoing* Denial of permission to entry of Japan
・Ongoing* Suspension of visa issuance

You will participate in the Hybrid exchange programs.
You will start participating from abroad at the beginning of the fall 2021 semester; all the courses as well as the instruction for IRT/IRTLab will be given online (via Googleclassroom, for instance, by using a designated ID and account given before the semester starts) during that time.
As soon as the border restrictions in Japan and the suspension of visa issuance are lifted for the exchange students, we will then start the preparation for your travel to Japan and the onsite participation will start thereafter.
More details for the online participation for the fall 2021 semester will be given later by email.
