On March 03, 2019, Prof. Carl Wieman from Stanford University will be visiting Tohoku University. Prof. Wieman is the 2001 Nobel Laureate in Physics and 2004 US Professor of the Year Awards amongst many other honors.

The TUSTEM (Tohoku University STEM Network) students are taking this opportunity to have an informal discussion 'Coffee with Carl Wieman' with Prof. Wieman! This event will have a student moderator who will be discussing several interesting topics and take questions from the audience on site to steer the discussion ahead. This event is open for all students and therefore, you do NOT have to worry that it will be too scientific.

Please fill out the form below (click the "Application page" box below) and write your questions. We will take as many questions as possible through this form and also during the event to ask Prof. Wieman to have a fun and interactive discussion. Also, though the event will be in English, Japanese translation will be arranged.

No reservation is required but highly recommended.
