The cherry blossoms are in full bloom under the very beautiful weather in Sendai now.

In the FGL Undergraduate Program, 20 of the students who have been taking online classes in their home countries have arrived in Sendai to coincide with the arrival of the cherry-blossom season.

Classes at Tohoku University's Kawauchi Campus began on April 11, and for the six students who have not yet arrived in Sendai, classes are being held in a high-flex format. The students, who were attending classes face-to-face in a classroom for the first time, seemed nervous at first, but gradually enjoyed the direct interaction with their peers and faculty members and participated in the classes.
Hoping that the day when all students take classes in the classroom will come soon, the faculty and staff will continue to support the students to make this semester a meaningful one for them.
