With the change in the immigration restrictions by the Japanese government, twenty-six first and second-year FGL students who had been forced to take classes in their home countries are now entering Japan one by one.

By March 24, a total of four students from Thailand and Taiwan had started their university life at University House Aobayama, a mixed dormitory. On March 25, they visited Kawauchi Campus for administrative procedures and also visited the FGL Faculty Office and the FGL Administrative Office, International Student Division. All people were full of smiles as they were finally able to meet each other in person, having previously met only online.

We wish them all a speedy arrival in Japan and a fruitful student life at Tohoku University.
