An online event called　"Student Life in Japan " was held on March 7, 2022. This event was planned and organized by the International Student Help Desk.

The event was planned not only for international students related to Tohoku University, but also for overseas students, who are unable to enter the country due to the COVID-19 immigration restrictions, to provide interaction with domestic students. We called for participation widely on the University of Tsukuba's international student support website: JV-campus.

On the day of the event, the 18 participants chose breakout rooms with themes such as "Graduate Student Life," "Scholarships," "Clubs and Circles," and "Student Daily Life," depending on their interests. After listening to student staff presentations, they asked questions and enjoyed talking with other participants.
