The Global Learning Center will host a special seminar (hybrid format) featuring disaster science on March 13 (Fri.), 2026. The guest speakers for this seminar are 1. Prof. Muto from Tohoku University and 2. Prof. Furlong from Pennsylvania State University.

 

While primarily intended for graduate students, anyone interested in disaster science is welcome to attend, regardless of affiliation, field of study, or academic year.

 

Nine PSU graduate students will also participate in person. We look forward to welcoming many participants from Japan as well.
