The online JIGE 2026 Global Doctoral Colloquium welcomes doctoral students and early-career researchers in the humanities and social sciences. This year’s common theme is “Understanding Social Divides: Interdisciplinary Reflections on Society, Technology, and Humanity.” The colloquium aims to share the latest insights across disciplines and promote opportunities for collaborative research.

This event aims to support the formation of a sustainable research community as part of the JIGE project, a global education initiative co-led by Tohoku University, Kansai University, and Chiba University, in partnership with 36 international universities.
