The online JIGE 2025 Global Doctoral Colloquium welcomes graduate students and early-career researchers in the humanities and social sciences. This year, the common theme is “Cosmopolitanism and Nationalism in a Changing World.” In addition to sharing the latest insights from their fields, participants will engage in interdisciplinary dialogue and explore opportunities for collaborative research in relation to this theme. This event is organized as part of the JIGE project, a global education initiative co-led by Tohoku University, Kansai University, and Chiba University, in partnership with 36 international universities, to support the formation of sustainable research communities and encourage efforts to address social challenges through research.
