IPLANET, an international exchange circle, held a bus trip to Ichinoseki, Iwate Prefecture, on Sunday, May 28, with about 60 international and 40 Japanese students participating. The trip included a boat ride to Geibi Gorge, making Japanese paper at a paper-making museum, and Zen meditation at Motsu-ji Temple, where participants were able to experience firsthand beautiful fresh greenery and Japanese culture.

Participants commented, "The washi I made was a great souvenir to take home," "during Zazen it was difficult to keep my posture, but it was a wonderful time to calm down and face myself," and "I was happy to make many new friends."

IPLANET will continue to hold various events in the future to contribute to exchange between international and domestic students.
