An online event called "Let’s talk in Japanese" was held on February 25, 2022. This event was planned and organized by the International Student Help Desk.
The event was planned not only for international students related to Tohoku University, but also for overseas students, who are unable to enter the country due to the COVID-19 immigration restrictions, to provide interaction with domestic students. We called for participation widely on the University of Tsukuba's international student support website: JV-campus.
On the day of the event, 57 participants including 13 Tohoku University members enjyoed talking about their favorite place and hobbies in Japanese in the 10 breakout rooms.
