The Online Apartment Information Seminar for International Students was held on July 8 (Thu.), 2021 to help international students transition from student housing to apartments.
It was conducted once in Japanese in the afternoon, and again in English in the evening. Over 40 international students participated.
The seminar provided information on the apartment rental process and the Tohoku University CO-OP Real Estate Agency's apartment-finding service. The participants actively asked about enrolling in insurance, setting up utilities, and moving procedures.
The event provided useful information on apartment hunting and received high marks from participants.
The International Exchange Support Office plans to hold similar seminars in the future.
