Organized as part of the Japan Hub for Innovative Global Education (JIGE) project, the event brought together doctoral students and early-career researchers in the humanities and social sciences from JIGE\u2019s overseas partner institutions and its three domestic partner universities\u2014Tohoku University, Chiba University, and Kansai University.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Approximately 15 participants took part in the colloquium, sharing their latest research findings and insights across a range of disciplines. Under this year\u2019s overarching theme, \u201cUnderstanding Social Divides: Interdisciplinary Reflections on Society, Technology, and Humanity,\u201d participants also engaged in interdisciplinary discussions on the social significance of research and their perspectives and responsibilities as researchers.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program was coordinated and moderated by Junna Minato, Research Associate at the Global Learning Center, Tohoku University.
