This event brought young\r\npeople together to explore the future of multicultural symbiosis through dialogue with a variety of\r\nspeakers.<br><br>\r\nAround 120 participants, including Tohoku University students, international students and high school\r\nstudents from Sendai-city, joined the event. Opening remarks from Tohoku University and the Australian\r\nEmbassy emphasized the importance of youth exchange and partnership building in shaping future\r\nsocieties. Speakers from Tohoku University, the University of Sydney, the local government and civil\r\nsociety organizations from both countries introduced their initiatives to promote multicultural coexistence.\r\nThis was followed by an active discussion with students.<br><br>\r\nThe symposium provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of creating inclusive\r\nand resilient communities and demonstrated how ongoing efforts and collaborative practices can drive\r\npositive social change.
