Recruiting\u00a0TUSTEM\u00a0Leaders (2025 Fall Semester) !!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>[What is TUSTEM?]<\/p>\r\n<p>Tohoku\u00a0University\u00a0has\u00a0many\u00a0excellent\u00a0STEM\u00a0students,\u00a0such\u00a0as\u00a0winners\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Science Olympics, from across the globe! However, interactions among the STEM students are unfortunately not active due to a heavy load of classes and laboratory work.<\/p>\r\n<p>For enhancing\u00a0interactions\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0STEM\u00a0student\u00a0community,\u00a0we\u00a0have\u00a0established\u00a0a student\u00a0international exchange\u00a0organization,\u00a0TUSTEM\u00a0(Tohoku\u00a0University\u00a0STEM\u00a0Student\u00a0Network).<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>[Activities]<\/p>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\r\n\t<li><span>Language Exchange\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>(at\u00a06:30\u00a0pm-8:00\u00a0pm\u00a0on 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0Thursday,\u00a0at\u00a0Midori Dining in New\u00a0Aobayama Campus)<\/p>\r\n<p>Let\u2019s enjoy conversations in both English and Japanese with dinner.<\/p>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\r\n\t<li><span> Academic Dinner (held irregularly) <\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>at usually 6:30 pm -8 pm at Aobayama\u00a0Commons\u00a0<br \/>\r\nStudents give presentation in English about their research under casual atmosphere.<\/p>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\r\n\t<li><span> Weekend Activity (held irregularly)<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>\u00a0We\u00a0organize both social and academic events.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u00a0Social events: Potluck party, Barbecue, Fireworks, Picnic, IMONI,\u00a0Trip to Zao,\u00a0etc.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u00a0Academic events: Coffee with specialists around the globe.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>[Job Description of TUSTEM Leader]<\/p>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\r\n\t<li><span>To prepare and organize events<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>We\u00a0organize (plan) events to\u00a0promote\u00a0interactions among TUSTEM\u00a0members.<\/p>\r\n<p>e.g., Planning events among leaders, booking venues, advertising\u00a0and organizing\/facilitating events.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\r\n\t<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\r\n\t<li><span><b>To help university's events\/activities for international students in various\u00a0programs as a (student) administrative assistant (AA)<\/b>*<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>e.g., Assisting\u00a0the\u00a0pre-enrollment education for FGL prospective students,\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>various program\u00a0activities and\u00a0final presentation sessions by international\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>students in degree programs, exchange programs, summer schools, etc.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<table class=\"table02\"><!-- .table02 -->\r\n<tbody>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th>Requirements for TUSTEM leader<\/th>\r\n<td>\r\n<p>No specific skill is required to become a TUSTEM leader.
