Online promotion events for the Future Global Leadership undergraduate courses (hereafter, FGL) were conducted in February and March 2023 for reputable high schools in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Venezuela, Kazakhstan, and Indonesia. In each event an \u201cFGL Student Ambassador,\u201d a current FGL student, joined as a moderator, and assisted the presentations by professors in English explaining by the local language. In addition, the student ambassador everytime gave an outstanding presentation about their experiences at Tohoku University.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

FGL also actively participates in other online promotional activities related to the Study Abroad in Japan Overseas Offices Collaboration Promotion Project, etc. In the late half of FY<\/span>2022, FGL participated in study abroad events in Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Brazil, Peru, Thai, and the globe as below.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The total number of participants in these promotional events is more than 1,200. At every event, we received many questions from prospective students and their parents interested in pursuing education at Tohoku University.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

We aim to introduce Tohoku University and the FGL program to the public through participation in these events and PR activities, leading to more FGL applications.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
