After two years off due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are excited to announce that we are going to organize the Tohoku University International Festival (TUIF) this year! The year 2022 also marks the 115th anniversary of Tohoku University\u2019s founding. With the spirit of the theme \u201cReunion of Cultures \u300c\u3064\u306a\u304c\u308b\u3001\u518d\u3073\u300d\u201d, The 35th Tohoku University International Festival (TUIF) x The 115th Anniversary of Tohoku University will be a momentous celebration for us to remember and evoke our journey at Tohoku University. We are now inviting participants and volunteers to make this event happen. The details are as follows.

The details for each stall participant and volunteer:
\r\nFood Stall (10 Stalls)<\/b>
\r\n\u30001.\u3000Each food stall will not be given an initial funding but can retain all earnings.
\r\n\u30002.\u3000Each food stall must prepare its own food and ingredients.
\r\n\u30003.\u3000We recommend that each food stall presents the food that reflects a set of cultural cuisine.
\r\n\u30004.\u3000Each food stall cannot serve alcohol.
\r\n\u30005.\u3000In case the event is canceled, each food stall will receive a compensation of up to 20,000 JPY.
\r\n
\r\nInteractive Corner (5 Stalls)<\/b>
\r\n\u30001.\u3000In this corner anything that connects people through the culture is expected. Boardgame, language exchange, exhibition etc.
\r\n\u30002.\u3000Each group is allocated with one tent and is supported with necessities such as chairs and tables.
\r\n\u30003.\u3000In case the event is canceled, each interactive corner will receive a compensation of up to 10,000 JPY.
\r\n
\r\nStage and Entertainment<\/b>
\r\nThere are two kind of performances:
\r\n\u30001.\u3000Fashion Show (No limit)
\r\n\u30002.\u3000Stage Performances (up to 20)
\r\n
\r\nTo performers:
\r\n\u30001.\u3000Come in ethnic costumes from various countries.
\r\n\u30002.\u3000Demonstrate dances, music, and traditional martial arts from various countries
\r\n
\r\nVolunteers (100 Volunteers)<\/b>
\r\n\u30001.\u3000Volunteers are expected to assist the festival decorations on the day before the event
\r\n\u30002.\u3000Help as staff on the day of the festival, such as:
\r\n\u3000\u30001.\u3000Prepare and call out the performers.
\r\n\u3000\u30002.\u3000Assist with transitions of stage performance.
\r\n\u3000\u30003.\u3000Guard the costume room
\r\n\u3000\u30004.\u3000Etc.
\r\n
