{"id":46584,"date":"2021-02-25T15:04:49","date_gmt":"2021-02-25T06:04:49","guid":{"rendered":"\/english\/?p=46584"},"modified":"2023-02-17T17:55:49","modified_gmt":"2023-02-17T08:55:49","slug":"fgl-courses-online-promotion-events-in-indonesia-and-thailand-spring-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"\/english\/activity\/46584\/","title":{"rendered":"FGL Courses Online Promotion Events in Indonesia and Thailand: Spring 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\r\nAs a part of Tohoku University's \u201cBe Global Project\u201d, the FGL Online Information Session was held in February 2021 for top high schools in Indonesia and Thailand, where many students apply for FGL every year. 228 teachers and students participated in the session in total.\r\n<br><br>\r\nIn each event an \u201cFGL Student Ambassador,\u201d who is a current FGL student, joined as a moderator, and also assisted with the course explanation in their local language. Some of the ambassadors were first-year students who had not yet arrived in Japan, but they actively talked about their online experience (pre-enrollment education, entrance ceremony, classes, etc.) and cooperated with their seniors and classmates who had already arrived in Japan.
