Tohoku International Suzume Odori Team to Perform at Sendai Aoba Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A team of Japanese and international students from Tohoku University will perform Sendai's traditional Suzume Odori (sparrow dance) again this year at the Sendai Aoba Festival held on May 14 to 15, 2016. <br \/> <br \/> The international team was created in the international co-learning class \u201cUnderstanding Japan through Miyagi\u2019s Traditional Culture\u201d. Last year, the team won 3rd prize in the Suzume Odori School competition. This year\u2019s team is very motivated to give an even better performance.
