{"id":31457,"date":"2019-09-25T17:28:06","date_gmt":"2019-09-25T08:28:06","guid":{"rendered":"\/english\/?p=31457"},"modified":"2023-02-17T17:55:53","modified_gmt":"2023-02-17T08:55:53","slug":"wanted-glc-administrative-assistants-aa-positions-for-2019-winter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"\/english\/application\/31457\/","title":{"rendered":"[Wanted] GLC Administrative Assistants (AA) Positions for 2019 Winter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Global Learning Center is now inviting applicants for administrative assistant (AA) positions for 2019 Winter.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><table class=\"table01\"><!-- .table01 --><tbody><tr><th class=\"w25\">Tasks<\/th><td>(1) Work at the International Student Support Desk<br \/>(2) Perform ambassadorial tasks (e.g. assist foreign guests)<br \/>(3) Assist international students (e.g. help incoming international students adjust to daily life)<br \/>(4) Help with short-term (e.g. summer) programs<br \/>(5) Help with symposiums and events (e.g. assist with international exchange events, data entry etc.)<br \/>(6) Perform other tasks, as requested by the GLC or Student Exchange Division<\/td><\/tr><tr><th>Compensation<\/th><td>900-1060 yen\/hour depending on enrollment classification<\/td><\/tr><tr><th>Qualification<\/th><td>Students who are enrolled<!--, or are scheduled to be enrolled by April 1 2019,--> as degree students at this university and meet the following requirements are eligible:<br \/>(1) have some kind of overseas experience, or experience with international exchange<br \/>(2) have Japanese and English language skills sufficient for everyday conversation<br \/>(3) are able to perform basic office tasks with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint<br \/>(4) feel responsible for their work while employed<br \/>(5) able to work at least until March 31, 2021<\/td><\/tr><tr><th>Duration<\/th><td>The duration of employment is as follows (however, hiring procedures are conducted each academic year):<br \/>December 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020<br \/> (may be renewed for additional 6-month periods, from April 1, 2020)<\/td><\/tr><tr><th>Available Positions<\/th><td>About 8<\/td><\/tr><tr><th>Application Instruction<\/th><td>Apply using the online form from the Application page below.<\/td><\/tr><tr><th>Deadline<\/th><td>Thursday, October 31, 2019<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><!-- \/.table01 --><\/table><p>* Applicants must read the application guideline before submitting application form.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Global Learning Center is now inviting applicants for administrative assistant (AA) positions for 2019 Winter.
