Upon arrival at the dormitory, you must attend a 30-minute registration meeting first. After that, you will be allowed to enter your room. In the unlikely event that you cannot arrive at the dormitory at the scheduled time due to flight delays, etc., you should contact the Student Exchange Division from <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/dafWhEj1daeau7859\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Please note that the available time to move in is <b>between 9:00 and 16:00<\/b> on weekdays.<\/span> If you wish to send your luggage from the airport to the dormitory, please specify that it should arrive on or after the day you move in. It depends on the dormitories, but you will be asked to pay approximately 70,000 to 100,000 yen in cash via bank transfer at a bank ATM shortly after moving in. Please be prepared for that. Students living in the UH Aobayama can pay by credit card alternatively. If you have any questions about dorm fees, please ask the management office of your dormitory.<\/p>\r\n<div class=\"lnav01_4\">\r\n<h2 class=\"hd2_01\" id=\"ank02\">Orientations<\/h2>\r\n<p>Before the semester begins, an orientation will be held for each program to explain the curriculum, course registration, etc. Make sure you know the date, time, and location of your program's orientation. <strong>Attendance at the orientation is mandatory<\/strong>. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you move into the dorm by by April 1st.<\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">A common orientation for all programs' participants (IPLA, COLABS, JYPE, and DEEP) will be held at 11:00 a.m on April 2nd.
