The purpose of elementary particle physics is to study elementary particles and its interactions, and to understand our world from the building blocks.
In this lecture, elementary particles and its interactions will be explained by putting emphasis on its phenomenological aspects.
Various quantum mechanical effects emerge clearly in elementary particle interactions and experiencing such effects through the elementary particle physics should be useful also to the students from other courses.
The goal of the lecture is to obtain a basic knowledge about the elementary particles and its interactions.
Elementary particle, quark, lepton, neutrino, photon, W boson, Z boson, gluon, Higgs particle, strong interaction, electromagnetic interaction, weak interaction, standard model, high energy physics.
