The quantum field theory is important not only in the particle and nuclear physics but also in the condensed matter theory. In this lecture, the basic concepts of the quantum field theory, which applicable to both, particle theory and condensed matter theory. The canonical approach to the quantum field theory is explained. After performing the quantization of various fields, the basic formulation of the perturbation theory is shown. The structure of the quantum electrodynamics and gauge theory is also mentioned.
To understand the theoretical structure of the quantum field theory and to learn the techniques for calculating simple examples of the physical processes such as scattering amplitude.
