A workshop on the Great East Japan Earthquake was held for international students in English by SCRUM, a Tohoku University volunteer support center, on the 9th of December. The event featured presentations on the current situation of the damaged area and volunteer activities. Participants discussed what the disaster meant to them and what they can do for the damaged area. They listened to the presentations very carefully and shared their opinions with each other actively. SCRUM is planning to conduct a volunteer tour of the damaged area especially for international students.
